Easy Immune Boosting Elderberry Glycerite | Alcohol Free Tincture | Sugar Free Syrup | Sambucus

Hey y'all! Hope you are doing well. Today I am sharing how I make an elderberry glycerite. This can be used as an alcohol free tincture or a sugar free syrup. This is great for kids or anyone who can't have alcohol or doesn't like the way alcohol tastes and it is also sugar free.

I made a video showing how to make it. You can find that here.

To a jar add in 1/2 cup of dried elderberries and 2 tablespoons of dried blueberries.

In another jar add in 1/4 cup of water and 3/4 cup of 100% vegetable glycerin and mix together. Pour this mixture over the dried berries.

Shake or stir the mixture. Add a lid and store the jar in the fridge. Shake the jar every day to every few days for 1 month.

After 1 month strain the berries out if you want. It is best to strain it if you are using it for kids. Add the lid and store it in the fridge for up to 6 months.
