Hey y'all! Hope you are doing well. Today I am sharing how I make my easy stabilized whipped cream.
I made a video showing how I make it. You can find that here.
To start put the bowl, whip and cream in the freezer to chill for about 30 minutes. You want this really cold but not frozen.
Then to a small bowl add 1 tablespoon of very cold water and 1 teaspoon of gelatin and mix together. Let that sit for about 5 minutes.
While that is sitting, add the bowl and whisk to the mixer. Then add 2 cups of very cold cream, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Whip this on high until
it has stiff peaks.
Liquefy the gelatin mixture (about 10 seconds in the microwave). Turn the mixer back on and
pour the mixture into the whipped cream.* This step is very important. If not you will have gelatin chunks in your whipped cream. Mix an additional 30 seconds on high.
Add it to a container and store in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
