$10 All Natural Laundry Detergent That Lasts For Months

Hey y'all, Hope you are doing well. Today I am sharing my easy laundry detergent recipe. I have been making this for over 2 years. My family has allergies and can't handle most commercial detergents. It is either the scent or something they put in them. I like this recipe because it doesn't have any fragrances and no one in my family is allergic to it. It is also cheap especially for being an all natural detergent. It only uses 3 ingredients as well. I made a video showing how I make it here.

I make multiple batches at once using all of the ingredients.
1 4lb box baking soda
1 55oz box washing soda
2 26oz container of salt

If you do not want to make such a big batch or just try it you can make it using the ratio
2 parts salt
3 parts baking soda
3 parts washing soda
I make mine in 1/2 cup increments. So I use
1 cup salt
1 1/2 cups baking soda
1 1/2 cups washing soda
I mix it well using a food processor. Then I use a flexible cutting board to funnel it into my glass jar. Once I have made all the batches and added it to the jar I add my 1/8 cup measure and put it in the laundry room. I generally use 1/8 cup for most loads. Slightly less for smaller loads or heaping for soiled clothes.

A one gallon jar lasts me 2 months. Not bad for $10. Give it a try and I bet you will like it.
